Good News!

The FOR@M has been funded! We are very excited to announce we have been selected by the NSF Marine Geology & Geophysics program for two years of funding to investigate biomarker preservation as a paleoceanographic proxy for bottom water oxygen and primary productivity. This funding will support Allison working with collaborators at CU Boulder in the Organic Geochemistry lab during her 2024-25 AY sabbatical and will provide two years of support & prof. development funding for Middlebury undergraduates. This funding also supports the CU GAMES (Girls At the Museum Exploring Science) outreach program.

Sincere thanks to all who make these funding opportunities possible and who contribute to the proposal evaluation process.
